Kara and I outside Hollo's Papercraft. I met Kara in October2001Babies {MSN Group} and found we also shared our love for scrapbooking. Kara lives in Ohio and meet me at the store.

My buddie Kelly & I outside Hollo's Papercraft. 9 hour drive for $1 a pound cardstock. It was the first time my buddie and I went on a trip together. Her "hubbie" had to come because we both dont drive..lol..=P
Tried to find it in a hurry but can't..I also sent a postcard home to my son. I knew I would be back b4 it was delivered but wanted my ROO to know I was thinking of him..=P
On the way back after we got LOST in Buffalo and almost out of gas {an no US money} we get stopped at Customs trying to get into Canada and the officer at the booth asks my buddie's hubbie what we were doing in the US. He turns and says.....Croppin for $1 a pound...HELLO you dont say something like that to an officer {I'm in the back screaming he's just the "chauffeur" he has no idea what he is talking about. We're scrapbookers}, so of course we get, can you pull over there please.
We got searched, the car got searched and LOTS of questions...All cause a man has NO idea what the sbing lingo is. He just took it as since we go "croppin" together that would be a good way to say what the trip was about.
Needless to say I will NEVER go over the border with him again...=P
We laugh about it now but at the time I was so upset and prolly spitting nails.
May 5th 2007:Q1: If you could vacation anywhere in the world where would you go and why?
my answer: Paris! I had a penpal there since the age of 11 and just growing up and seeing photos, her tapes she sent of music over there..I just want to go and soak it all in myself. My penfriend has now moved to England but Paris is still my first choice to go...=P
Q2: What cartoons do you absolutely detest & refuse to allow anyone to watch {be it child, spouse- haha, nieces/nephews.. etc just plain don’t want it viewed on your television)?
my answer: The Simpsons, Futurama, Power Rangers and a few others!
Q3: You just woke up, you’re a mess, haven’t showered, there are dishes in the sink.. There’s a knock at the door, what do you do?
my answer: Yell, hold on!
Q4:When you looked at yourself in the mirror today, what was the first thought that ran through your mind?
my answer: Not bad..not bad at all!!!
Q5. Tell me a story about your Dad..
my answer: My Dad was the best when it came to my birthday. I got to go with my sister {or friend but always picked my sister} to Canada's Wonderland theme park here in Toronto. My bday party was usually at an outside McDonald's for my friends and family but my Dad's "gift" was a day out with him riding the rides and just having fun!
Q6: You open your drawer, find 1 pink polka dotted sock and 1 black sock with reindeer on it.. Do you wear them together and hope no one sees them or go without socks today & hope your feet don’t get sweaty?
my answer: hmmm...have worn odd socks b4 and also skipped on socks cause of what I was wearing.
Q7: Are there any strange stains on your carpet, floor, walls, ceiling or couch? Do you know how they got there? Nope..Yep on Kai's car rug {has roads and buildings}can't figure if its juice or popcicle.
Q8: Are your neighbors annoying???
my answer: Yes but since I blare my music at weird times too and he hasn't complained to me I guess its alright. He is constantly building stuff so its saws, drills, hammers, OH MY its annoying.
Q9: Are you a phone person.. if I called you right now would you chat with me?
my answer: Nope I would prolly say I'm on my way out and get Kai dressed to go outside to the grocery store {if you called me today Saturday May 26th at 1:04 pm}. I do need to go..=P
Q10: What colour popsicle would you like.. Orange, Purple, Red, Yellow, Green, Pink or Blue?
my answer: Blue if it was {blue}raspberry or blueberry flavor. if not purple..=P
