Kai had his first day of school today...We had a bit of a "meltdown" in the morning but he turned around. Got to his school and all was good. Kai played with the other JK/SK kids in their playground til it was time to go in.
Time for another mini "meltdown"..lol...I walked him in and put his things in his cubby and he wouldn't move away from me. Mrs Mitchell (Kai's teacher) came over to chat to me and then I turned to her and said.."Should I just say my goodbyes and go?"...Mrs. Mitchell replied yes so I said bye to my Roo and said I will see you in a bit and off I went. I have no idea how it went after I left in the morning (will ask monday) but when I returned (Kai's Dad was already there/dropped him off in the am also). Kai was looking out his classroom window waving at us. My sister Dawn/Mim (as Kai calls her) came along to share in Kai's first day and help take photos for me (so Kai and I could be in some together). On our way home, as Kai rides in his "limo" (huge wagon) Kai turns around and says..."Oh Mom I have to go back to school "tomorrow" so I can play on the computer." I am so proud of my little...oh I mean big boy!!!!!

My little man is definitely on his way!!! Sometimes I miss that liittle baby I would run around the apartment with, but others I am really enjoying watching you grow and do more.
